Katherine Heigl shares her experiences in a 'white bubble' changed the way she parented her adopted multiracial family. "I inquired of my sister, Meg, if she had been treated one way when she went out in public with our parents and a different way when she went out alone without them. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." She admitted that she was frustrated and felt it was necessary to use her anger to assist her daughters. Heigl, who has been with Josh Kelley for 13 years, have a son, Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. In 2009, they welcomed Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
